embedded systems embedded world 2017
Spring is just around the corner in many parts of the world and so is Embedded World 2017, which takes place on March 14-16 in Nuremberg, Germany. Embedded World brings together over 30,000 professionals focusing on embedded systems and software tools, and I’m pleased to let you know that ANSYS will be attending again this year in booth 4-303.

We talk about product complexity and how the product development process is changing quite a bit here on the blog and the same holds true for the embedded sector and embedded systems and software tools. More and more products are controlled by embedded software and this software must behave as planned. This not an easy task.

In order to make sure that your products and the embedded systems and software tools that control them are behaving in the correct manner, there are many things that you must consider. Among these there are interactions with the 3-D physics properties of the actual product, systems design, functional safety of the software and the embedded actual code itself that is controlling the device.

As you may know, we’ve recently released ANSYS 18 and there is no better place to see the enhancements and new embedded systems and software tool features available to you than in our booth at the show.

Embedded World 2017 Preview

So, what can you learn if you swing by and pay us a visit? We’ll be demonstrating a number of exciting new developments including the brand new SCADE Solutions for Automotive package that allows you to develop complex, high-quality applications that meet ISO-26262 requirements and AUTOSAR standards.

We’ll also show you new features in SCADE Display for HMI testing and support for OpenGL 2.0  that enables you to address the unique and stringent certification requirements of safety-critical and high-reliability display system markets, including FAA DO-178C and EASA ED-12C Level A for avionics, and ISO 26262 safety standards for automotive. And, you can learn more about the latest addition to the ANSYS family, ANSYS Medini Analyze, for an integrated, model-based approach to safety analysis ensures a level of consistency, traceability and efficiency.

If you want to delve a little deeper into some of the hot topics facing the embedded industry right now, join my colleagues, Fabrice Pena and Christian Schrader when they participate in the Exhibitors Forum at the show. Be sure to check out their presentations, Predictive Analytics Simulation and the Digital Twin Enabled with ANSYS Technology and Enabling Autonomous Vehicle Technologies with ANSYS Tools.
