I would like to tell you about a new weekly webinar series we’re launching called ANSYS in ACTION. Before I do, let me ask you a few questions.
Do you like to see software in action before trying it yourself? Are you curious about how ANSYS software can be used to solve your common applications? Are you willing to take a 20 minute hot beverage break once a week to learn something new?
If you answered yes to these questions, the ANSYS in ACTION webinar series is for you. Beginning October 13th, at 1 pm EDT, application engineers from ANSYS will spend 20 minutes each Thursday showing you how ANSYS software can solve common problems. We are selecting applications that a large number of engineers face and showing them our best and easiest to use simulation solution, the solution that will produce the results they need to make good decisions fastest, for each one.
The first session will focus on how simulation can be used to understand pressure drop in valves and the response to changes in flowrate in a system connected to a valve. This is a key concern for engineers who need to select the right valve for their process and is found in many industrial sectors.
Why ANSYS in ACTION instead of more traditional one hour webinars? We know that engineers are busy and that an hour is often too much time to commit to watching a screen. We also know that engineers come to our webinars to see the software demos – the software in action – and would rather skip the background information and marketing talk. So, we did just that.
ANSYS in ACTION strips away the marketing talk you’d rather not listen to and the background information you already know to get right to the fun, meaty part — the software demo. We spend just 20 minutes showing you how ANSYS software can be used to solve a problem and then let you have the rest of your hour back.
I am very excited about this new series and the opportunity to help engineers see how ANSYS simulation software can help them investigate common applications. I hope you can spend just 20 minutes each week to see how simulation software from ANSYS can give you insight into how to solve your common engineering problems.
So, check out the ANSYS in ACTION schedule and register for a session today. Then, grab a hot beverage just before 1 pm EDT each Thursday and logon to see how simulation can help you.
Upcoming topics, in addition to Pressure Drop in a Valve, include Evaluating the Effectiveness of a CPU Cooler and Heat Exchange in an Exhaust Manifold. If there a particular topic you’d like us to consider, please comment on this post and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
